DOLIA PRODUCTION and REPAIR

Since 2015, I have worked with UC-Berkeley doctoral student Caroline Cheung in the study of dolia, large-scale ceramic storage containers found throughout the Roman world. In January 2017, we presented our findings at the Archaeological Institute of America/Society for Classical Studies Joint Annual Meeting in Toronto, where our poster took top prize. This project began as an offshoot of the Pompeii Artifact Life History Project.
